ALL content—including but not limited to videos, classes, documents, visuals, and training materials—is owned by Ka Yin Chan a.k.a Adam Chan (“Company”) or its licensors. You are granted limited, personal, non-commercial access. You may not reproduce, share, adapt, publish, repost, distribute, or use any Site content, in part or in whole, on any other platform or medium without prior written consent from the Company. This site (adamchanlive.com) is independently operated and not affiliated with adamchankungfu.com or the Adam Chan Kung Fu course library. All content is developed solely by the Company and may not be reproduced, distributed, modified, or used without prior written consent. Unauthorized use may result in legal action or removal of access.

Progress in these arts depends on personal dedication, discipline, and consistent practice. You alone are responsible for your journey and how you apply the teachings.

9. Third-Party Providers
The Company is not responsible for issues caused by third parties (e.g., PayPal, Stripe, hosting platforms, software providers). Any such issues are governed by your agreement with those services.

10. Company Discretion & Refunds
The Company reserves the right to restrict or terminate your access for any reason, including policy violations. All fees are strictly non-refundable, including partial use, unless otherwise required by law.

11. Limitation of Liability
The Company shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or physical damages—including, but not limited to, injury, data loss, service interruptions, or financial harm—even if advised of the possibility. Martial arts and Taoist Qi Gong training involves inherent risks, and you accept full responsibility for your participation and well-being.

12. Assumption of Risk
By participating in Kung Fu or Taoist Qi Gong instruction, you acknowledge and accept the inherent risks associated with physical movement, breathwork, and energy cultivation. These practices may involve exertion, physical contact, or internal shifts that can affect individuals in unpredictable ways. You voluntarily assume full responsibility for your health, safety, and any outcomes resulting from your participation.

13. Subscriptions & Billing
We offer monthly and annual subscriptions. All subscriptions renew automatically using your payment method on file unless canceled. You may cancel at any time without penalty; access will continue through your current billing cycle. For annual subscribers, a renewal notice will be provided if required by law in your jurisdiction. All subscription fees are strictly non-refundable, including for unused time, unless required by local law.

14. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Company—including Ka Yin Chan a.k.a. Adam Chan personally and professionally—and its officers, employees, agents, affiliates, contractors, and licensors, from any and all claims, damages, liabilities, expenses, and costs (including legal fees) arising from:

  • your breach of these Terms,
  • your violation of any laws or third-party rights,
  • content you submit or share via the Site,
  • your use or misuse of the Site,
  • or any injury, damage, or incident you sustain during any in-person or virtual session, activity, or program associated with the Company.

You expressly waive any right to pursue legal action or claim against Ka Yin Chan in any individual or business capacity. The Company may assume exclusive defense in any matter, and you agree to provide full cooperation if requested.

15. Third-Party Rights
These terms extend protection to the Company’s affiliates, contractors, licensors, and content providers, who may enforce the agreement on their own behalf.

16. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia, Canada. If any section is deemed invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect.

17. Lifetime Access
“Lifetime access” refers to the duration the course remains publicly available on this Site. It does not extend to your lifetime. Access may be revoked if the course is discontinued or if you violate these Terms.

18. Updates to Terms
These Terms may be updated periodically. Your continued use of the Site means you accept the latest version.

19. Consent & Agreement
Consent may be obtained through digital acknowledgment at checkout or registration, and such action constitutes a legally binding agreement.
