In the previous year, Chan Shifu offered a full month of free classes on Qigong and although I had begun my own daily practice since 2022, his caring manner and the step by step demonstrations to the class made me find deeper meaning in Qigong in a short period of time.

I've been depressed from birth and it only got worse with every stage of life I entered, eventually spilling over into anxiety and panic attacks. Contemplating suicide but choosing not to, I tried many modules such as guided breathwork, sound healing, yoga (the modern non-spiritual kind), among others and had some glimpse of hope from each and every one of them. Based on the testimonials shared by other practitioners however, it felt like my results came up way short. The root was never fully unearthed and my troubles remain.

That was when I stumbled upon Sifu Adam and learned why all these other healing modules didn't work (for me). I began practicing as per Sifu's teachings and kept faith. As I'm writing this, about a year has passed and I have experienced many synchronicities and miracles. Chief among them, I'm completely healed mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. I used to act from a place of fear; now I do from a place of faith. For the first time in my life, a stranger told me that I have a beautiful smile. A few people have told me that I'm "glowing" or that they sense good energy from me. Some have even told me that they feel better just talking to me, and these are strangers I'm referring to.

I now understand what Sifu Adam meant by "your practice will spill over into everyday life". Beyond personal healing, the Tao/Universe/God has guided me towards my life calling as a spiritual healer and coach, specifically to bridge spirituality and entrepreneurship. I am happy and lucky. It's amazing how all the resources I seek just flow into my life, be they books to further develop my expertise or volunteer clients to accumulate experience with.

Taoist Qi Gong: The Way of No Way

Anxiety, illness, and chronic stress often arise from lifestyleβ€”
from the hunger for more, for endless striving.
Taoism calls this the Hungry Ghost mind:
always chasing, never resting.

Many approach healing the same wayβ€”
